5 Bedroom Cabin in Rockbridge

Welcome to Redwood Lodge, a spacious, owner operated log cabin designed for families, groups, and friends looking for the best of Hocking Hills lodging. Tucked among the trees, this property combines the privacy of a wooded retreat with modern comforts that make it easy to relax after a day of exploring Hocking Hills State Park, Old Man’s Cave, and nearby trails.
The moment you pull in the driveway you'll notice the breathtaking outdoor fireplace surrounded by over 1000 sq ft of covered deck space surrounded by trees.
The kitchen features everything needed to prepare a meal. Enjoy a dinner "at home" at the custom made dining table or breakfast bar. There is a gas grill out on the deck or ask us about catering options if you'd rather leave the cooking to someone else.
The main floor living room features sofas and love seats arranged around the 2 story stone wood burning fireplace and TV with DirecTV.
On the main floor is the master bedroom with queen bed and master bath. The master bath features a jetted jacuzzi tub, double vanity and walk in shower. The connected master bedroom has a sliding glass door out onto the deck.
Upstairs, there are 2 queen beds in the loft along with 2 of the bedrooms and a full bathroom. Off the 2nd floor there is a secluded covered porch with swing, a nice getaway.
The 2 remaining bedrooms are located in the basement. One queen bedroom and one bunk bedroom with 2 sets of twin bunk beds.
The basement has a game room with TV, shuffle board table, and foosball. There is a wall bar with stools, couches and love seats. From here you can walk out on to the bottom covered deck to take in all the natural beauty and a game of corn hole. There is a full size washer and dryer in the basement.
All towels and linens are provided.
We love the Hocking Hills and have hiked all the area trails and visited many of the attractions so feel free to ask for recommendations, we want you have an amazing vacation!

Summary: My husband and I give experiences to our Kids and their families! The Redwood Lodge was perfect! Great setting in the woods! We very much enjoyed the large front porch with fireplace! Inside was cozy and beds were comfortable!

Summary: This property is great. It is exactly like the listing. We had eight adults and one toddler for our extended weekend vacation. The house is very spacious with a bathroom on each of the three floors. The wrap around porch was a fun place to hang out. We did a lot of hiking in Hocking Hills State Park. Depending on which area we went to it was a 15 to 30 minute drive. Highly recommend this property.

Summary: This was our second time at this cabin, we love it. The house is well equipped and so comfortable. Close to Hocking Hills and downtown Logan. The hot tub was a hit this time! Weather did not permit a fire this time unfortunately. The covered porch and fireplace saved us. Will stay again.

Summary: What a great trip we had to Hocking Hills! Redwood Lodge was just perfect. Everything was clean, well appointed, worked by design, and just what we needed for a peaceful get away. Summary: We were able to celebrate at this cabin with our three children, their spouses, and our eight grandchildren ages ranging from 3 to 23. Had a good time. The kitchen was well stocked for the several chefs we had in the family. Beds and floors a little creaky but might be expected for long cabin home. we toured the caves on our one sunny day, but had plenty of games to occupy us on the other others. Hot tub could use some attention has had some issues before we could get into it. Great having the large fire pit with multiples seating, but plan to purchase your small packs of firewood at seven dollars a bundle unless you bring your own. we made use of the cornhole during our rainy days. A good time for all, but having the maximum of 16 was a bit tight. Can see where 12 might be more comfortable. Still bothers me that there is an additional charge for numbers over 12 even though the listing states beds for 16.. Apparently this is a new trend. In addition to a hosting fee
